EQUITANA began in 1972 as a bi-annual trade fair in Germany. It has been the leading international exhibition for the equestrian industry for over 35 years, with 98% of visitors attending with an intention of ordering or buying. The event expanded to Australia in 1999 and comes to America in 2020.

The event features shopping, instruction, education, and entertainment – all in what promises to be the premier event for equestrians and horse enthusiasts in North America. With your health and safety as our top priority, the in-person 2020 event has been canceled. In 2021, EQUITANA USA will return to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky – the horse capital of the world.

EQUITANA USA promotes the exchange of ideas, information, and experiences to enhance the horse and personal excellence among those with a passion for horses.  All riding levels, ages, disciplines, and breeds are invited to attend. The event is family friendly.  A ticket is required to attend.

EQUITANA and EQUITANA USA are both produced by Reed Exhibitions, the world’ leading events business.  Reed Exhibitions develops, markets, and organizes over 500 events in 30 countries each year, bringing together seven million participants around the world.

EQUITANA USA – September 2020 Cancellation FAQs

When will I see my refund? 
All refunds will be processed by September 1, 2020. 

Will I be refunded taxes and fees? 
Yes, in addition to the ticket price, you will also be refunded the full amount of taxes and fees for your ticket order. 

I purchased merchandise when I purchased my ticket. Will I get a refund for my merchandise along with my ticket refund? 
We will reach out to every individual who purchased merchandise. You will be able to choose whether you’d still like to have your merchandise shipped to you or refunded in full.

When will tickets for the 2021 event be available?

I booked a hotel room for the September show dates. How do I cancel the reservation that I made through the hotel page on the EQUITANA USA website? 
Connections Housing will cancel your hotel reservation on your behalf at no cost to you. Should you wish to keep your reservation for those dates, please contact Connections Housing directly. The Connections Call Center is Available Monday - Friday 6am - 5pm PST at 1-702-476-6976.

EQUITANA USA will feature 200 exhibitors that each specialize in the equine-industry and offer an array of items for horse lovers of all ages.  Everything from tack and apparel, to feed and supplements, trailers and stabling, artwork and beyond, will be available at the show.  Exhibiting brands cater to a variety of disciplines and riding levels. 


A combination of seminars, clinics, and trainings, the EQUITANA USA Education Program will broaden understanding of all things related to horse care, while opening doors to new disciplines and fun.

About the Kentucky Horse Park

EQUITANA USA will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park, North America’s premier equestrian facility, located minutes from downtown Lexington. The park is home to the famous Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, Breyerfest, USEF Pony Finals, the Thoroughbred Makeover, the National Horse Show, and endless horse shows of all disciplines.

EQUITANA USA and the Kentucky Horse Park allow dogs on-site, but please review the specific requirements in the Kentucky Horse Park FAQ section.
